Erin Meise, Owner and Professional Bookkeeper

Erin Meise is a professional bookkeeper and owner of Sapphire Bookkeeping Solutions, LLC, based in Central Texas. She is most passionate about helping new and growing businesses get started on the right foot with their business accounting and bookkeeping. Erin enjoys educating her clients on best practices and ensuring they have their books set up correctly, allowing them to feel confident, prepared, and official. She also loves seeing the confidence business owners gain by knowing they are making good business decisions because they have their finances under control.

Erin provides bookkeeping and payroll services along with consulting and training for QuickBooks. She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, Hubdoc Advisor, and a Patriot Payroll certified advisor. Some of her most recent projects include:

• Completed an entity conversion for a sole proprietor to an LLC
• Created a sales price matrix to demonstrate costing for a bakery to help them adjust their pricing in order to account for transaction fees and sales tax, resulting in higher profits
• Assisted client on savings plan to pay quarterly taxes
• Streamlined invoicing and improved accounts receivable processes for another client
• Hosted a webinar to educate and advise new business owners on best practices

While Erin serves clients in all industries, she has two favorites: mom-preneurs and nurse coaches.  Nurse coaching is a new industry in which nurses advise and mentor people online and coach them to better, healthier, more fulfilled lives. She also enjoys working with women-owned businesses and “mom-preneurs.”

I am here to help alleviate the worries of managing the bookkeeping, assist with implementing procedures to streamline processes and increase profits and ultimately allow business owners the time to focus on growing their business and spending time with their families!

Prior to starting her own business, Erin was a certified teacher in the State of Texas who taught 7^th grade math at Harris Middle School in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and mathematics from Southwestern University, where she graduated cum laude.

When she’s not working, she enjoys scuba diving (she’s PADI certified), swimming, and spending time with her family and two chiweenie puppies. Erin is a San Antonio Spurs fan and has completed a full Ironman Triathlon (140.6 miles).
